Overview

Singapore is a thriving city-state that has overcome its dearth of natural resources to become one of the juggernaut economies of Asia. A city renowned for its hi-tech wizardry, of concrete, glass and steel, also offers a taste of the great Asian cultures in a small easy-to-manage package. Fortune-tellers, calligraphers and temple worshippers are still a part of everyday life in the crowded streets of Chinatown. You will not believe how clean and green the city is until you set foot here. The number of activities that can be packed into this pulsating island will astound you.
